Responsibilities
- Manage customer demand to ensure accurate, on-time delivery in the correct quantities
- Develop and oversee production scheduling, material planning, and production control processes
- Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules across all assets
- Monitor production schedule attainment and delivery performance
- Ensure timely and accurate vendor material releases aligned with inventory targets
- Optimize press and assembly capacity to improve plant productivity
- Maintain and enhance SAP (ERP/MRP) system utilization
- Support new product launches and engineering changes from a planning perspective
- Ensure compliance with customer portal requirements and logistics standards
- Respond to customer inquiries and manage delivery expectations
- Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, Kaizen, SMED)
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain, material planning, scheduling, or procurement
- 2+ years leading material planning activities and teams in manufacturing
- Automotive industry experience required
- Strong experience with SAP/MRP systems
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and automotive standards (AIAG, VDA, MMOG/LE)
