Hourly: $9.00 – $9.00

The Sales Associate assists the store’s management staff in delivering quality customer service. The candidate is knowledgeable in each product area, upholds company policies, promotes sales and promotions, and serves as an ambassador of Hibbett I City Gear, creating a unique customer experience that helps acquire and retain long‑term customers.

• Provide extraordinary customer service as highlighted in the customer service manual, including greeting customers and assisting multiple customers during peak periods.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise offered by Hibbett I City Gear.
• Set personal goals to grow and improve selling skills and track overall sales.
• Adhere to all Hibbett I City Gear policies, procedures, and standards as listed in the operations policy manual, personnel policy manual, visual manual, customer service manual, and related memos.
• Assist in daily store operations, including completing work lists, clean‑up lists, weekly shipments, and store maintenance.
• Utilize presentation strategies to promote and sell goods, as guided by the product knowledge manual.
• Consistently achieve and/or exceed sales targets and goals.
• Identify and communicate merchandise needs, pricing concerns, and operational problems to store management.
• Attend all staff meetings and technical clinics for the store.
• Protect company assets and financial information by ensuring accurate internal control procedures and reporting potential fraud risks.

There are no supervisory responsibilities for this role.

• 0–2 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Self‑starter with initiative to take on important tasks without being asked.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with precision.
• Team‑player, passionate about outstanding customer service and merchandise sales.
