Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our clients team in Uniondale, New York. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounts receivable and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

- Process and review invoices to ensure accurate billing and timely payments.

- Manage accounts receivable records and monitor outstanding balances.

- Communicate with clients to facilitate collections and resolve payment discrepancies.

- Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status and financial performance.

- Work closely with internal teams to address billing inquiries and improve processes.

- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures during all transactions.

- Utilize accounting software systems to track and manage receivables.

- Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation related to accounts receivable.

- Assist with month-end closing activities related to receivables.

- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounts receivable function.

Requirements

- Proven experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role.

- Strong knowledge of deductions and chargebacks

- Proficiency in using accounting software systems.

- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams.

- Ability to analyze financial data and produce accurate reports.

- High attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Familiarity with vendor portals

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
