HANC High School is a mission-driven, modern Orthodox, co-educational private yeshiva located in Nassau County. Working closely with the Principals, Dean of Students, and Director of College Guidance, the Registrar/Executive Assistant serves as a central administrative leader supporting the school's academic program, student records, regulatory compliance, and operational systems. This position also works closely with faculty, students, parents, and external agencies to ensure the accurate management of academic data, effective communication with families, compliance with state reporting requirements, and the smooth operation of critical school systems and procedures.
AcademicSystems and Student Records
Serve as the primary administrator of the school's Learning Management System (LMS), Parent Locker.
Maintain student schedules, course assignments, grading systems, report cards, transcripts, attendance records, citizenship records, and residency documentation.
Coordinate academic records and reporting processes in support of college guidance and post-secondary planning.
Manage transcript requests, student records transfers, and graduation-related documentation.
Coordinate management of Sefarim and Textbooks; this includes ordering, distribution and end of year collection.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for parents regarding academic records, report cards, schedules, transcripts, attendance, residency, and related matters.
Coordinate and submit all required state and regulatory reports, including but not limited to BEDS reporting, YCS reporting, and other mandated data submissions.
Ensure compliance with applicable state regulations governing student records, testing, and reporting requirements.
Maintain accurate documentation and records to support audits and regulatory reviews.
Coordinate all aspects of New York State Regents examinations and other standardized testing programs.
Manage Test Calendar and Make Up System.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong technological proficiency, including student information systems and learning management platforms.
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced school environment.
Experience in educational administration, student services, registrar functions, or school operations preferred.
