The Hebrew Academy of Nassau County High School is a mission-driven, modern Orthodox, co-educational private yeshiva high school located in Nassau County. HANC is seeking a full time High School Math Teacher beginning September 2026.
About the RoleThe candidate will teach New York State Regents and Advanced Placement (AP) Mathematics courses, fostering a dynamic and student-centered learning environment. Courses may include:
- Algebra
- Geometry
- Algebra II
- AP Pre-Calculus
- AP Statistics
We are looking for an educator who:
- Has experience teaching various levels of High School Mathematics
- Possesses strong curricular knowledge and a deep understanding of math instruction
- Is committed to a student-centered approach that encourages discovery and exploration
