🚀 Lead Systems Engineer | RF & Space-Qualified Hardware | Long Island, NY (Onsite) up to $175,000
Are you an architect of high-reliability systems? We are looking for the Technical Heartbeat for a world leader in space-tier timing and frequency solutions.
This isn't just about managing requirements—it’s about bridging the gap between theoretical RF design and flight-ready hardware that performs in the most unforgiving environments. You will be the technical authority for programs supporting NASA, the DoD, and global aerospace primes.
The Role- Technical Authority: Act as the "glue" between Mechanical, Electrical, Thermal, and Radiation disciplines.
- Requirements Architecture: Own the full lifecycle from mission goals to sub-assembly specs.
- Space-Grade Reliability: Lead EEE parts selection (NASA EEE-INST-002) and own the radiation hardening (TID/SEE) strategy.
- V&V Leadership: Design matrices for TVAC, Vibration, and EMI/EMC stress screening.
The "Unicorn" Edge: We need someone who can pivot from a high-level systems diagram to a deep-dive discussion on microwave circuit performance or EEE part derating in the same hour.
Qualifications- Education: BSEE required (Master’s preferred) with a deep foundation in RF/Microwave theory.
- Experience: 5+ years in Systems Engineering within Space, Aerospace, or Semiconductor industries.
- Standards: Expertise in MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, and space-specific radiation environments.
- Compliance:
US Citizenship is required due to DoD contracts.
Join an elite, hands-on hardware environment with a state-of-the-art laboratory and a legacy of flawless mission performance.
