THE ROLEPerforms the daily activities of the accounting function at the facility and as the Accounting Manager or Finance Director by performing the following duties:
- Maintains fixed asset detail records; performs account analysis.
- Assists Director of finance in preparation of financial statements.
- Perform variance analysis of financial statements to budget and prior periods
- Enter A/R and A/P invoices, reconcile GL to detail aging.
- Record cash receipts and disbursements.
- Records journal entries for project accounting.
- Record journal entries for revenue recognition.
- Performs account analysis on general ledger accounts.
- Onboard new union hires/ employees
- Review I9 and payroll paperwork for accuracy
- Performs any other functions delegated by Director of Finance.
- Audits box office ticket sales reports and reconciles cash receipts.
- Records parking sales per event.
- Records food and beverage sales per event, audits month end inventory
- Record merchandise sales per event, involved in inventory counts.

- B.S. in Accounting or Finance from a four-year accredited college or university
- 1-2 years of experience in a position with accounting responsibilities preferred
- Or similar combination of education and experience
- Thorough knowledge of financial and cost accounting
- Excellent analysis skills and attention to details
- Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required
- Ability to interact with all levels of staff including management and clients
- Detail oriented
- Ability to function independently with minimal supervision
- Experience in MS Office, strong knowledge of Excel including pivots and VLOOKUP’s, knowledge of Dynamics or other ERP accounting financial reporting software.
