This position is primarily responsible for overseeing the Denial Management functions for our family of companies.
Duties & Responsibilities- Manage the timely review, investigation, and response to coding denials.
- Determine required actions for appeals within contractual time frames.
- Review carrier guidelines and policies for denied services.
- Prepare responses to delay letters received from carriers.
- Identify denial trends and their root causes.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and notes for all denial activity.
- Support and assist the team with additional assigned tasks as needed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- 2+ years of experience with Denial Management across multiple insurance carriers and specialties.
- Proficient in the use of computers, insurance web portals, and keyboarding, with knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word required.
- Detail-oriented and a strong team player.
- Superior customer service and communication skills.
- Self-starter with strong problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to meet high productivity and accuracy standards.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
- Monday-Friday, 8am - 4:30pm.
- $19/hour
Experience: Required Employment: Full-time Salary: $19 hourly
