Role SummaryThe Accounts Receivable Associate supports healthcare revenue cycle operations by managing insurance A/R follow‑up, with a focus on No‑Fault and Workers’ Compensation claims. This role is ideal for an experienced AR professional seeking long‑term stability, consistent volume, and growth within a large healthcare platform.
What You’ll Do- Manage insurance A/R follow‑up for No‑Fault and Workers’ Comp claims across multiple providers
- Review EOBs, resolve denials and underpayments, and submit corrected claims and appeals
- Research claim status using payer portals and document all follow‑up activity
- Identify denial trends and escalate systemic issues appropriately
- Collaborate with billing and revenue cycle teams to support reimbursement goals
- 2+ years of medical accounts receivable and denial management experience
- Experience with No‑Fault and Workers’ Compensation preferred
- Working knowledge of ICD‑10, CPT, payer rules, and managed care regulations
- Strong computer skills;
Athena or similar system experience a plus - Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple work queues
