Salary: $24 - $26 per hour

Role Summary

The Accounts Receivable Associate supports healthcare revenue cycle operations by managing insurance A/R follow‑up, with a focus on No‑Fault and Workers’ Compensation claims. This role is ideal for an experienced AR professional seeking long‑term stability, consistent volume, and growth within a large healthcare platform.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage insurance A/R follow‑up for No‑Fault and Workers’ Comp claims across multiple providers
  • Review EOBs, resolve denials and underpayments, and submit corrected claims and appeals
  • Research claim status using payer portals and document all follow‑up activity
  • Identify denial trends and escalate systemic issues appropriately
  • Collaborate with billing and revenue cycle teams to support reimbursement goals
What You’ll Need
  • 2+ years of medical accounts receivable and denial management experience
  • Experience with No‑Fault and Workers’ Compensation preferred
  • Working knowledge of ICD‑10, CPT, payer rules, and managed care regulations
  • Strong computer skills;
    Athena or similar system experience a plus
  • Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple work queues
