The IT Senior Analyst, Infrastructure, provides advanced technical and operational support across enterprise infrastructure systems, end-user devices, and collaboration platforms. This role bridges user-facing support and back-end infrastructure, serving as a Tier 2/3 escalation point while maintaining and optimizing core IT systems, including enterprise infrastructure, infrastructure services, and endpoint management tools. The analyst contributes to the reliability, security, and efficiency of LIPA’s technology environment through proactive monitoring, automation, and process improvement initiatives.

• Administer and support enterprise infrastructure, ensuring high availability and optimal performance, by patching and upgrading operating systems, VMware, Windows Server, and Linux, applying firmware updates to physical servers and storage devices, maintaining backups in Rubrik, monitoring and responding to critical availability alerts from Nagios.
• Manage infrastructure services, Group Policy (GPO), Organizational Unit (OU) structures, Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), and granular Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC) across on-premise and Azure cloud environments.
• Leverage endpoint management tools, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM), Intune for Mobile Device Management (MDM).
• Maintain and optimize the hybrid IT environment (e.g., Active Directory and Azure AD), implementing and enforcing compliance policies for device security, access management, and identity governance.
• Partner with IT Security and Network teams to identify, prioritize, and swiftly remediate vulnerabilities, and ensure all systems are patched and configured according to established security and compliance baselines.

• Serve as Tier 2/3 escalation point for complex end-user issues, coordinating resolutions within established SLAs.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity problems across local and remote endpoints.
• Manage incident and service request workflows within the organization’s ticketing system, ensuring clear communication and accurate documentation.
• Deliver both remote and desk-side support to maintain workforce productivity.
• Deploy, image, and maintain Windows and macOS devices using SCCM and Intune.
• Manage device lifecycle, including warranty coordination and secure decommissioning.
• Configure and deploy Apple devices through Apple Business Manager (ABM).
• Maintain accurate IT asset inventories and ensure software license compliance across the environment.

• Administer and support enterprise collaboration platforms including Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex and SharePoint Online.
• Configure and maintain conference room AV systems and scheduling integrations.
• Partner with HR to deliver onboarding and IT orientation for new employees and contractors.

• Use enterprise security and endpoint protection tools to monitor and remediate vulnerabilities.
