The Uniondale office is seeking a full‑time Legal Assistant to join our Corporate Practice Group.
What You’ll Do- Provide administrative and organizational support to multiple attorneys within the Corporate Department.
- Prepare, edit, and blackline legal documents and correspondence.
- Communicate professionally with clients, internal staff, and external parties.
- Maintain and organize electronic and physical files, including schedules and matter‑related information.
- Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including mail, emails, and calls.
- Assist attorneys and staff with day‑to‑day tasks, ensuring timely and accurate completion of assignments.
- Prioritize multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced environment.
- 2+ years of relevant corporate experience in a law firm, including experience black lining documents.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
- Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to self‑prioritize, work independently, and manage competing deadlines.
- Professional judgment, problem‑solving ability, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to communicate professionally with internal and external clients.
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree a plus.
- Ability to work overtime, as necessary.
We offer a competitive salary, an excellent benefits package, and a collaborative, friendly environment.
Salary Range: $60,000 – $75,000. Actual salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.
