Tasks

As the Intern in Marketing, you will perform the following duties:

* Active involvement in B2C and B2B marketing activities, advertising, activations, and social media for Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines under the Marketing Manager for Lufthansa Group

* Support in coordination and managing communication between suppliers and partners for sponsored and produced marketing events

* On-site assistance for events outside of traditional 9 to 5pm hours, including travel to other areas outside of New York

* Assist with integrated advertising planning, media selection process for traditional, and digital channels

* Compiling and producing executive summaries for reporting of all marketing activities

* Support creation of sales support materials including digital flyers, signage, event invitation management

* All other duties as assigned or required

Requirements

To thrive in this role, we value a combination of the following requirements:

* Advanced students (Intermediate diploma) in business administration/marketing with strong academic performance

* 2 semesters completed in before the start of the internship

* Previous practical experience in advertising and/or marketing

* Knowledge of the advertising industry & all channels including Digital, Social Media, and Events

* Fluency in English language is required

* International experience preferred

* Ability to work independently & under pressure

* Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

* Commitment to customer service

* Excellent PC skills (MS Office)

* Must possess a legal US work authorization
