About This Role

The Registered Nurse - Ambulatory (Multispecialty) provides comprehensive patient care by utilizing the nursing process and collaborating with healthcare team members. This role is ideal for nurses who excel in a dynamic, patient-focused environment.

• Location: Uniondale, NY
• Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift

• Conduct patient interviews and assess health status across multiple systems.
• Communicate and document patient’s physiologic and psychosocial health status.
• Develop individualized patient outcome statements and goals.
• Coordinate care activities and document the plan of care.
• Implement the plan of care while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Measure effectiveness of care and perform variance analysis for improvement.
• Collaborate with care team members and provide direction as needed.
• Administer medications safely and educate patients on drug interactions.
• Participate in patient and family education and discharge planning.
• Perform related duties as required.

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred; must enroll in a BSN program within 2 years and obtain a BSN within 5 years
