Responsibilities
- Commit to remaining educated about the various types of insurance, insurance-related protocols, and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of program requirements and ensure our customers are satisfied
- Take ownership of ensuring there are accurate records of all necessary bookkeeping, client, and sales reports in order to track and communicate the status of assigned goals
- Spend time listening to existing, new, and prospective clients to evaluate their needs and stage-of-life priorities before presenting insurance plan options for their specific circumstances
- Maintain a portfolio of existing customers and pursue insurance sales with new clients by using sales strategies that may include cold calling and networking
- Develop risk management strategies for each customer to ensure his or her policy needs are continuously met
- Willingness to learn about investments, investment programs, and language for approaching clients and prospects when speaking on these services. Willing to get necessary licenses (SIE, Series 63, Series
7) - Working knowledge of accounting and sales lead software is a plus
- Valid insurance license required or candidates must be willing to get licensed
- Fundamental computer skills such as experience with Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills required; customer service experience is a plus
$120,000 + at planned earnings
