As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol - Security Clearance in Uniondale, NY
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to deter security-related incidents, document observations, support access control practices, and work with site teams to address concerns quickly. Pay Rate: $22.35 / Hour

• Saturday: 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM
• Sunday: 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production and office areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials as required, help control entry and/or exit, and report irregularities according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with alarms, medical calls, and/or evacuations as directed by post orders.
• Complete required reports and logs, document patrol findings and incidents, and communicate key information to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.

• An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
