RN – Stepdown
Seven Healthcare is seeking a dedicated RN specializing in Stepdown for a travel assignment in Galesburg, IL. This role offers the opportunity to work in an acute care setting, focusing on providing exceptional patient care in the Tele Intermediate department. Key responsibilities of the RN – Stepdown – Travel include:
- Provide direct patient care and monitor patient status in the Tele Intermediate unit
- Administer medications, including Cardizem, Lasix, renal dopamine, and nitro
- Collaborate with hospitalists and ensure continuity of care
- Perform assessments for patients with CHF, COVID pneumonia, and other common diagnoses
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the EPIC charting system
Requirements of the RN – Stepdown – Travel include:
- Active IL RN license or confirmation that application process has been initiated
- Current certifications in BLS and ACLS (AHA)
- Experience working in acute care and a stepdown environment
