- Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Overtime is available

- Mobile service role supporting refuse customers throughout the Uniontown, PA area
- Mobile service role supporting ambulance customers throughout the Uniontown, PA area
- Mobile service role supporting apparatus customers throughout the Morgantown, WV area
- Work performed at customer locations with a fully equipped service vehicle
- Specialty work on refuse trucks and heavy‑duty waste equipment
Job Duties
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on fire and emergency apparatus, including chassis, body systems, water pumps, electrical components, and engines
- Operate and inspect equipment to identify problems and determine the most effective repair solution to return apparatus to safe operating condition
- Inspect parts and components for damage or excessive wear using specialized diagnostic tools and equipment
- Repair, rebuild, overhaul, or replace defective components such as gauges, air fittings, plumbing lines and valves, hydraulic lines, pumps, and basic engine components
- Test repaired equipment to verify proper operation, efficiency, and safety before returning the apparatus to service
- Diesel mechanic experience, preferably with heavy duty trucks or refuse vehicles
- Strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to pass pre‑employment screening
