Registered Nurse Statewide Float (Full-Time) – Paragon Infusion Centers

Location: 12669 Olive Blvd, Suite A, Creve Coeur, MO 63141
Additional Locations: 9560 Watson Road, Suite J Crestwood, MO 63126; 20120

E. Jackson Dr. Suite. C Independence, MO 64057; 8434 Ward Parkway Kansas City, MO 64114.
Shift: Days (1st Shift, Monday–Friday)

• Performs duties within the Nurse’s scope of practice, the facility’s policies/procedures, INS Standards of practice, and approved facility protocols.
• Administers ordered therapies according to prescriber order, facility protocols, INS standards and company policy and procedures.
• Completes admission process as directed by Center Director.
• Performs physical assessment on each patient as warranted and for new consults as warranted by the patient diagnosis.
• References NP on duty for complete physical assessment as needed.
• Documents all pertinent data in the patient’s medical record.
• Reports all significant changes or observations to the Center Director and follows up on any identified problems.
• Evaluates the patient’s response to therapy and documents findings in the medical record.
• Educates patients and/or family members regarding therapy plan.
• Ensures all medication orders are complete, appropriate, accurate, and up-to-date prior to treatment.
• Understands and adheres to all applicable state, local, and Federal laws and regulations, including maintaining patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Travels to worksite and other locations as necessary.

• ASN or ADN with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience; or equivalent education/experience.
• Current unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Multi‑state licensure if providing services in multiple states.
• Satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test and Hepatitis B vaccine or signed waiver.

• 2+ years of experience with IV‑Port, PICC, & Peripheral Line.
• Medication mixing experience.
• Titration experience preferred.
• Ability to travel to multiple locations for clinical coverage.
• Ability to travel out of state for extended periods of time for clinical coverage.
• BSN.
