  Minimum of 7.0 hours/day, 5 days/week, 195 days/year;
  Elementary School Paraprofessional Day: 8:15 AM - 3:45 PM, Monday - Friday

Assist teachers, counselors and administrators in providing educational services to students with special needs. Work will involve assisting students with remedial, enrichment and/or independent living activities as well as supporting instructional and educational goals.

• 2 years of college coursework or an Associate's Degree or higher
• High school diploma with the passage of the Para Pro Assessment prior to employment
• One year of related successful work experience
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Experience in operating basic office equipment, such as copiers
• Ability to lift equipment, supplies and/or children weighing at least forty (40) pounds
• Physical ability to perform all of the essential functions of the job
• An active Educational Aide Permit (1-Year or 4-Year) or a teaching license issued by the Ohio Department of Education

• Experience working with students with special needs

• $16.92/hour (non-degreed); $19.12/hour (2-year degree); $20.82/hour (teaching certificate)
