Under the general supervision of the building principal, supervise elementary age children during lunch period. The lunchroom supervisor directs the work of lunchroom non-paraprofessionals.
Job Summary4.0 hours/day (10:00 a.m.
- 2:00 p.m.), 5 days/week, 195 days/year
- Participates in lunchroom non-paraprofessional selection/orientation.
- Trains/coaches assigned staff in procedures to accomplish duties effectively.
- Keeps administrators aware of emerging issues.
- Provides staff leadership. Engenders staff enthusiasm/teamwork. Helps resolve problems.
- Expresses high expectations and provides support to improve staff performance.
- Helps lunchroom non-paraprofessionals as needed meet established schedules/program objectives.
Ability to read and write; ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide; good interpersonal skills; physical ability to perform all of the essential functions of the job.
Preferred QualificationsSuccessful work experience as a lunchroom non-paraprofessional. Previous supervisory experience.
SalaryStep 1, $18.38/Hour
