Position: Lecturer (Part-time), in Economics, Finance, and Personal Financial Planning
  • A graduate degree in business ( MBA ), economics, finance, financial planning/wealth management, or a closely related field, from an accredited university.
  • An undergraduate degree with a nationally recognized certification such as Chartered Financial Analyst ( CFA ), Certified Financial Planner ( CFP ),j or Certified Business Economist ( CBE ), as appropriate to teaching responsibilities.
  • A commitment to outstanding teaching and delivering an excellent student experience is required. Candidates should possess a strong record of professional service and be willing to engage in departmental and university service appropriate to their rank.

Preferred Qualifications Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepare course materials and pedagogy in order to achieve course learning goals and objectives.
  • Employ appropriate pedagogy for the nature of assigned courses.
  • Conduct classes and deliver course material on assigned days and times.
  • Utilize University Learning Management System ( LMS ) to deliver course information to students.
  • Evaluate and grade student work in a timely manner.
  • Maintain availability to students during posted hours to assist students.
  • Respond promptly to departmental and student communications.
  • Meet periodically with supervisors and colleagues for collaboration, training, and development.
  • Participate in departmental efforts to assess student learning.
  • Respond appropriately to the needs of a diverse population.
