Part-Time Teaching Assistant- SCIS

The Department of Supply Chain and Information Systems at Penn State University Park invites applications for a part‑time teaching assistant for MIS 479W to start during the fall 2026 semester. The successful candidate may expect an average of 10 hours of work per week throughout the regular academic calendar.

• Hold office hours 2 hours per week
• Grade assignments using detailed guidelines from the supervisor
• Grade exams in collaboration with the supervisor
• Attend class on lab days to help students with lab work
• Assist the supervisor with class during out‑of‑office periods

• Successful completion of MIS 479W at Penn State

The starting rate for this position is $16.00 per hour.

Approval of remote and hybrid work is not guaranteed regardless of work location.
