Part-Time Teaching; SEDI

Position Overview

The School of Engineering Design and Innovation (SEDI) within the College of Engineering is seeking individuals for part‑time teaching positions.

• Teach courses in the Engineering Design (EDSGN) Program, including the cornerstone engineering design course that assists students in learning design processes, methods, and decision‑making tools while engaging in team‑based design projects.
• Teach courses in the Entrepreneurship and Innovation (ENTI) Minor, supporting the Technology‑Based Entrepreneurship or Social Entrepreneurship cluster.
• Teach courses in the Engineering Leadership Development (ELD) Program, covering individual, team, and organizational leadership, business acumen, global competencies, and innovation management.
• Teach courses in the Law, Policy, and Engineering (LPE) Program, covering cross‑disciplinary perspectives and tools for complex problems and societal changes.
• Teach courses in the Doctor of Engineering (D.Eng.) Program, an online program focused on advanced engineering and high‑level leadership principles.
• Teach other courses as part of SEDI’s growing portfolio.

• Master’s Degree in engineering or a closely related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• Strong teaching skills, with experience in online or remote instruction a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency with computer‑aided analysis tools.
• Ability to engage students in team‑based design projects and apply decision‑making tools.
