Position Overview

The Smeal College of Business at The Pennsylvania State University (University Park, PA) invites applications for Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor positions beginning in Fall 2026.

• Term position; length to be discussed during the interview process and continuation may depend on university need, performance, and availability of funding.
• Approval of remote and hybrid work is not guaranteed regardless of work location.
• On-site teaching is an essential function of the job.

The successful candidate will:

• Teach courses in business communication.
• Support the teaching mission through regular office hours, student counseling and advising, involvement in student extra‑curricular activities, and academic administration.

• Advanced degree in communication or related areas.
• Preferred candidate will have relevant industry experience and experience in communication.
• Competitive contract structure, including term, salary, and benefits, will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience.
