BA Part-Time Teaching Assistant

Job Description

The Smeal College of Business Department of Accounting is hiring teaching assistants for Business Analysis (BA 411), the capstone undergraduate course. The course provides students with a methodology for analyzing businesses and trains them to prepare and professionally present business analysis reports.

• Lead a weekly lab section of approximately 50 students.
• Instruct students in business analysis practices.
• Grade all student coursework.
• Use the CAPSIM business simulation as the foundation for students’ analysis of a fictitious company.
• Prepare and professionally present business analysis reports.

• Preferred: teaching and/or professional work experience; not required.
• Availability for one full academic year.
• Must upload a cover letter and up-to-date resume.
