Position: Part-Time Research/Teaching Assistant Support- Acoustics
JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Graduate Program in Acoustics seeks to hire numerous Penn State students and non-students throughout the  academic year. We are looking to hire part-time research assistants and part-time teaching/learning assistants.

Research assistant duties include:conduct research and collect datainterpret and analyze research datareport status of research activitiesmeet with research principle to maintain ongoing communication of research progressperform other duties as assigned by research principle

Teaching/learning assistant duties include:grade student assignments and examsrespond to and return student work in a timely mannerhold regular office hoursattend lectures if required by faculty supervisorconsultant with faculty supervisor to resolve administrative, grading or other issues related to the courseperform other duties as assigned by faculty supervisor

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
