Position Summary
Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications is seeking a part‑time Education Program Specialist to support the Holocaust, Genocide, and Human Rights Education Initiative. This role focuses on designing and delivering high‑quality professional learning experiences for educators.
Responsibilities- Attend regular global co‑planning meetings.
- Enact a nonpartisan inquiry stance in all facilitation and collaboration, and thoughtfully tailor sessions to meet the needs of diverse teacher audiences.
- Communicate effectively with educators and project partners.
- Respond to emails and requests in a timely manner.
- Contribute to a collaborative, reflective, and learner‑centered professional learning environment.
- Display strong organizational skills, adaptability, and a commitment to engaging adult learning practices.
Approximately 10 hours per week at a rate of $30 per hour. Travel required throughout Pennsylvania.
Qualifications and RequirementsBackground checks in accordance with university policies required. The position requires operating a motor vehicle as part of job duties: a valid driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check are required in addition to standard background checks.
