Lab Coordinator – Science-U Summer Science Camp Program

The Office of Science Outreach in the Eberly College of Science is seeking enthusiastic applicants to serve as Lab Coordinators for the Science-U summer science camp program. Successful candidates will help design and execute high‑energy, hands‑on science experiences for campers at the University Park, PA campus during the camp season.

• Organize materials and supplies
• Prepare and implement experiments
• Conduct inventory and clean‑up
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Enthusiasm to work with K‑12 students and share science enthusiasm
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi‑task and learn on the job
• Reliability and ability to follow a schedule communicated in advance

A typical work week for most camps is 40 hours, with an hourly wage starting at $12.70 per hour. Lunch and professional development opportunities are also included.

PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check are required in addition to applicable background checks.
