Job Description And Position Requirements
The Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications is seeking a part time education program specialist to support the Holocaust, Genocide and Human Rights Education Initiative.
This position will support the design and delivery of high-quality professional learning experiences for educators.
Responsibilities include attending regular global co-planning meetings, enacting a nonpartisan inquiry stance in all facilitation and collaboration, and thoughtfully tailoring sessions to meet the needs of diverse teacher audiences.
The facilitator will communicate effectively with educators and project partners, respond to emails and requests in a timely manner, and contribute to a collaborative, reflective, and learner-centered professional learning environment. Strong organizational skills, adaptability, and a commitment to engaging adult learning practices are essential.
This position is approximately 10 hours per week and $30/hour. Travel required throughout Pennsylvania.
Background Checks/ClearancesEmployment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
