Part-Time Research​/Teaching Assistant - Acoustics

Job Description

The Graduate Program in Acoustics seeks to hire numerous Penn State students and non-students during the  academic year. The program will hire part-time research assistants and part-time teaching/learning assistants.

• Conduct research and collect data.
• Interpret and analyze research data.
• Report status of research activities.
• Meet with the research principal to maintain ongoing communication of research progress.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the research principal.

• Grade student assignments and exams.
• Respond to and return student work in a timely manner.
• Hold regular office hours.
• Attend lectures if required by the faculty supervisor.
• Consult with the faculty supervisor to resolve administrative, grading or other issues related to the course.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the faculty supervisor.
