Position: Youth Program Counselor for MAKER DAY CAMPS

Youth Program Counselor – Maker Day Camps

Conferences and Institutes is seeking a Youth Program Counselor for Maker Day Camps scheduled for August 5–8, 2025. The role includes overseeing the safety and well‑being of minors during the camp and handling daily program administration.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and ensure the safety of minors participating in the program.
  • Manage all aspects of daily program administration, including youth compliance policies, emergency response procedures, and direct communication with the Program Director and Program Manager.
  • Collect, store, verify medication, and oversee participant health information.
  • Assist with the development of instructional content and deliver lessons and activities.
  • Monitor safety, whereabouts, and actions of program participants at all times, including non‑instructional periods.
  • Identify and respond to issues concerning participant interactions, behavior, mental health, and acclimation to the program environment.
  • Act quickly and calmly when situations arise, using sound judgment, handling sensitive issues, addressing behavior, and following notification protocols.
Position Requirements
  • PA State Police Criminal Background Check.
  • PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form.
  • Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.
