Job Description And Position Requirements

The Department of Psychology at The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for the opening of Adjunct Lecturers of Psychology for the semester starting Fall, 2026
. The opening requires teaching practicum courses in clinical psychology. Candidates should be available for both on-line and classroom teaching assignments. Psychology is the study of behavior, both normal and abnormal, how it is studies and its relation to applied areas of study.

Part-time Lecturers are expected to teach one to two courses per semester based on the department need and agreed upon courses.

• Previous teaching experience and fit to the department’s teaching needs are critical.
• In addition, successful candidates must either have demonstrated a commitment to building an inclusive, equitable, and diverse campus community, or describe one or more ways they would envision doing so, given the opportunity.
• Ph.D. preferred and at least ABD status required.
