Position Overview
The School of Engineering Design and Innovation invites applications for a part‑time Engineering Support role. The position supports fabrication, instrumentation, and testing of a kinetic sculpture for integration into ESM and ME courses. Candidates are expected to work 5–10 hours per week.
Responsibilities- Assist with fabrication, instrumentation, and testing of kinetic sculpture projects.
- Complete all training required for the learning factory and metal shop.
- Current Penn State student or employee (as appropriate).
- Successful completion of a University background check.
Approval for remote or hybrid work is not guaranteed. Candidates may work on campus or remotely as circumstances allow.
