Job Overview
University Libraries – Music and Media Center (Pattee Library) seeks motivated and responsible individuals to work at our public service desk.
Responsibilities- Provide in‑person reference assistance for music and film.
- Circulate Music and Media Center items.
- Shelve CDs, DVDs, LPs, VHS, and other items.
- Maintain the collection.
- Provide general library and technology support.
Applicants should have strong interpersonal, communication, and computer skills. A background in music or film, or previous library experience, is preferred.
Hours and AvailabilityMusic and Media Center Hours are 9 am – 6 pm, Monday‑Friday (All Year) and 1 pm – 5 pm Sunday (Academic Year only). Positions will be 12 – 24 hours per week, depending on availability.
Background Checks / ClearancesEmployment will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
