Post-doctoral Scholar
The Development, Risk, and Resilience Lab ((Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).) and the REPEAT Lab () at The Pennsylvania State University, led by Drs. Rina
D. Eiden and Emily Ansell, invite applications for a Postdoctoral Scholar.
Ideal start date would be Fall, 2026, with flexibility.
Responsibilities- Engage in all aspects of the Growing Up Healthy project, a longitudinal study beginning in the first trimester of pregnancy, with current data collection focusing on the transition from late adolescence (16–18 years) to young adulthood (18–20 years).
- Contribute to examining developmental cascades linking pre- and postnatal risks to adolescent risk behaviors, through parent–child interpersonal processes and child behavioral and autonomic regulation.
- Participate in data management and analyses; collaborate on writing scientific papers and presentations.
- Work with graduate students and research staff across multiple collaborating universities and labs.
- Be located at the University Park campus of Penn State and utilize the university’s resources, including the Child Study Center.
- Be a member of the Psychology Department and the Developmental Psychology area within the department.
- Ph.D. in Psychology, Human Development, or related field required by the appointment date.
- Preferred: experience with longitudinal studies; experience with observational and autonomic measures; statistical analysis including longitudinal data analysis; and excellent scientific writing skills.
