ObjectivesPenn State’s Impact Incubator is building an exceptional team of students from the colleges of Health and Human Development, Engineering, Business, Communications, and Arts & Architecture. This team will work to advance Penn State’s innovation ecosystem across a diverse group of stakeholders.
Research Assistant DescriptionThis part‑time research assistant (RA) position offers a hands‑on, collaborative experience with students from a variety of disciplines. The RA will research, design, test, analyze, and promote a process to advance flourishing, innovation, and entrepreneurship mindsets, skills, and behaviors. The RA will test applied research theories and use a variety of measurement tools to analyze and refine our interventions.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design, conduct, and analyze research studies.
- Apply measurement tools to evaluate interventions aimed at fostering innovation mindsets.
- Communicate findings and contribute to team discussions and problem‑solving.
- Assist in promoting interventions and disseminating results to stakeholders.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Desire to contribute as part of an innovation team.
- Student status, part‑time availability, and current enrollment at Penn State.
- Approval of remote and hybrid work is not guaranteed regardless of work location.
