Part-Time Research Support - Hickey Group - Materials Science and Engineering

Job Description and Position Requirements

The Department of Materials Science and Engineering is seeking a part-time research support position. The role involves:

• Synthesizing polymer materials.
• Measuring the dielectric properties of these materials.
• Functionalizing polymers with polar substituents and measuring the dielectric properties using dielectric relaxation spectroscopy.

Remote and hybrid work approval is not guaranteed regardless of work location.

• Data management and computer-based data analysis skills.
• Experience in organic and polymer synthesis.
• Strong communication skills to support collaborative work.

Compensation:
The starting rate for this job is $25 per hour.
