The College of Agricultural Sciences, Department of Entomology at Penn State University invites applications for a part-time research assistant. This position will study the behavior of mushroom phorid Megaselia halterata and sciarid Lycoriella ingenua flies, and perform laboratory experiments to optimize attract-and-kill technology for field trials.
Candidates will contribute to exploring vectoring dynamics and the use of natural enemies to control pest insects.
