Job Summary
The Department of Ecosystem Science and Management is seeking candidates to perform a range of duties, including water quality laboratory analysis, sample preparation such as filtering, and cleaning lab dishware. Responsibilities also involve routine sensor maintenance, data downloads, sensor installation, field data collection, detailed data analysis, data entry, and GIS analyses.
Qualifications- Experience with laboratory analysis of water quality samples.
- Ability to perform field work in adverse conditions, including carrying heavy equipment on uneven terrain and long days in the field.
- Knowledge of data management and GIS software.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean motor vehicle records check, as operation of a motor vehicle is part of the duties.
- Successful completion of a background check in accordance with University policies.
Employment with the University requires successful completion of background check(s). This position also requires the use of a motor vehicle and thus a valid driver’s license and motor vehicle records check.
