Job Description and Position Requirements
Part‑time academic position to teach in person at University Park Campus for the academic term of Fall 2026.
Job Duties- Teach one or more of the following courses:
CYBER 221 Overview of Information Security
CYBER 262 Cyber Defense Studio
CYBER 362 Cybersecurity Analytics Studio
CYBER 366 Malware Analytics
CYBER 451 Network Security
IST 220 Networking and Telecommunications
Applicants must possess a master’s degree or equivalent experience and education and be committed to teaching learners at all levels and from all backgrounds; preference given for prior teaching experience and professional experience in a relevant area.
Background Checks/ClearancesEmployment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
Campus Security Crime StatisticsPursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
