Civil Engineer

In this role you will manage the planning, engineering design, project management and construction management work associated with the preservation and improvement of wastewater treatment plants and supporting facilities. Your work will range from coordinating consultant contracts, writing reports, communicating with internal and external groups, completing engineering calculations, specification development and preparing plans in AutoCAD/Civil 3D. The Sewer Division performs all the planning, administration, engineering, construction management, maintenance, and operations necessary to run like a successful public utility.

Some of the projects you may be part of include:

• Fertilizer Manufacturing Facility Rehabilitation and Replacement Project – Project to replace aging critical equipment used to produce Class A Biosolids.
• Electrical System Rehabilitation and Replacement – Project to replace aging critical electrical equipment within the plant.
