• Operate all equipment safely and efficiently.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
• Prepare products and receive/ process telephone orders.
• Maintain inventory records and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and work areas on a daily basis.
• Assist with store management tasks and promote from within.
• Deliver product to customers and drive through designated delivery area when required.
• Control merchandise and restock shelves up to 72" high.
• Assist with menu changes, pricing, and in‑store maintenance tasks (e.g., wall washing, changing signs).

Orientation and on‑the‑job training will be provided.

• Basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and accurate monetary change handling.
• Verbal, written, and telephone communication skills, including processing orders over the phone and in person.
• Good motor coordination and hand–eye coordination for rapid and precise movements.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, climb, crouch, bend, and lift heavy items (up to 50 lb.) for extended periods.
• Capacity to work in varying temperatures, including exposure to food‑related fumes, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces, and moving mechanical parts.

Work is performed largely in a stand‑up environment with frequent walking and occasional sustained standing. Tasks include unloading deliveries, stocking, and handling ingredients that can weigh up to 50 lb. Additional duties may require driving and navigating city streets and stairways in delivery work, often in adverse weather. The work environment has varying temperatures and can involve exposure to food odors, dust, and hot equipment.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to navigate a delivery vehicle, locate addresses, and overcome adverse terrain.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple orders and tasks simultaneously.
