Position: STEWARDSHIP COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST

STEWARDSHIP COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST – University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB)

Overview

STEWARDSHIP COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST - ( T236131 ). The primary responsibility is to play a lead role in creating personalized acknowledgments, correspondence, and stewardship/impact reports on behalf of UAB Advancement. The position supports the Office of Donor Relations and Engagement within the Office of Advancement and helps develop and enhance print and digital content to strengthen relationships with donors. The role reports to the Executive Director of Advancement Impact and Engagement and collaborates with other members of the Office of Advancement and University personnel to translate the University’s mission and goals into fundraising achievements.

The position is full-time and hybrid-eligible after the probationary period.

Key

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assist the research and writing of student and faculty biographies and research and program updates for donor impact reports. Proofs copy and ensure accuracy.
  • Use approved design templates to create stewardship reports and presentations that include accurate and detailed programs, faculty, and financial information.
  • Help prepare impact reports and other stewardship for donors, including assembling folders for meetings and printing and mailing reports.
  • Track and manage confidential donor stewardship information in the donor database.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Salary

    Salary Pay Range: $43,890 – $55,000

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field and three (3) years of related experience required. Work experience may substitute for the education requirement.

    Preferred related degrees in Communications, Journalism, or English.
