STEWARDSHIP COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST – University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB)
OverviewSTEWARDSHIP COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST - ( T236131 ). The primary responsibility is to play a lead role in creating personalized acknowledgments, correspondence, and stewardship/impact reports on behalf of UAB Advancement. The position supports the Office of Donor Relations and Engagement within the Office of Advancement and helps develop and enhance print and digital content to strengthen relationships with donors. The role reports to the Executive Director of Advancement Impact and Engagement and collaborates with other members of the Office of Advancement and University personnel to translate the University’s mission and goals into fundraising achievements.
The position is full-time and hybrid-eligible after the probationary period.
KeyDuties & Responsibilities
Salary Pay Range: $43,890 – $55,000
QualificationsMinimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and three (3) years of related experience required. Work experience may substitute for the education requirement.
Preferred related degrees in Communications, Journalism, or English.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Strong project management skills
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to work well autonomously and within a team
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
- Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization
