Position: DIRECTOR-ATHLETICS COMPLIANCE

Job Description - DIRECTOR-ATHLETICS COMPLIANCE (T235479)

To provide positive leadership to Athletics Compliance Office with focus in areas of Eligibility, Financial Aid and Academic Performance. Coordinates and oversees athletics‑related Financial Aid including processing scholarship renewals, student assistance fund requests, and summer aid. Oversees NCAA Academic Performance Program including academic progress rate, graduation success rate, and federal graduation rates. Oversees initial, continuous, and transfer eligibility certification for student athletes.

Acts as primary liaison to NCAA Eligibility Center, Registrar, Financial Aid and Admissions. Works with Athletics Compliance staff, Conference and NCAA on rule interpretations. Adheres to all institutional, conference and NCAA rules and regulations. Reports all known NCAA violations in accordance with institutional, conference and NCAA policies and guidelines. Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Manage NCAA Academic Performance Program metrics such as academic progress rate, graduation success rate, and federal graduation rates.
  • Supervise initial, continuous, and transfer eligibility certification for student athletes.
  • Serve as primary liaison to NCAA Eligibility Center, Registrar, Financial Aid and Admissions.
  • Collaborate with Athletics Compliance staff, Conference, and NCAA on rule interpretations.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional, conference, and NCAA rules and report violations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Salary

Salary Range: $45,395 - $50,923.20

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Sports Administration, Law or a related field and three (3) years of related experience. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
