Job Description - HUMAN RESOURCES PARTNER ADMINISTRATOR (T239136)
The Human Resources Administrator provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources Partner Generalist Senior by assisting with human resources activities for two distinct employee populations:
University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and UAB Health Services Foundation (HSF). Assists with recruitment, onboarding, personnel administration, employee records, performance management, credentialing, leave administration, and compliance while ensuring processes are completed accurately and in accordance with the policies, procedures, and systems unique to each organization.
- Assists with creating, routing, and monitoring employment requisitions for UAB and HSF positions.
- Assists with drafting and posting job advertisements.
- Coordinates interview schedules and applicant communications.
- Assists with background checks and recruitment documentation.
- Prepares hiring documentation for review by the Human Resources Partner Generalist Senior.
- Assists with onboarding faculty, staff, residents, fellows, and other employees for both UAB and HSF.
- Coordinates employment paperwork, I-9 documentation, badges, parking, system access, and orientation activities.
- Assists employees with Oracle HR Finance access and direct deposit enrollment.
- Monitors onboarding checklists and required compliance training.
- Assists with processing personnel actions for UAB and HSF employees, including hires, transfers, supplemental pay, position changes, leave actions, and separations.
- Monitors approval workflows and maintains supporting documentation.
- Maintains confidential personnel records for UAB and HSF employees.
- Assists with employment verification requests.
- Assists with FMLA and leave documentation and tracking.
- Supports compliance with institutional policies and documentation requirements.
- Assists with faculty appointment documentation.
- Assists with physician and provider credentialing activities.
- Maintains licensure, certification, and renewal tracking.
- Schedules HR meetings and interviews.
- Prepares HR correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Assists with volunteer administration and special projects.
- Provides responsive customer service to employees and departmental leadership.
- Assists with coordinating both UAB Performance Management and HSF Success Factors evaluation cycles.
- Monitors completion, communications, documentation, and reporting.
- Assists with HR reports, workforce metrics, and audit preparation on.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in a related field and one (1) year of related experience required. Work experience may substitute for education experience.
