Description Position SummaryThe University of Alabama at Birmingham, Ped - Allergy, is seeking an experienced Researcher IV to join their team.
General ResponsibilitiesWorking with a high degree of independence, to oversee projects within the laboratory and to assume responsibility for the day-to-day operation of lab activities.
To collect, enter, summarize, analyze and interpret data.
To contribute significantly to the planning/design of studies and to help develop long or short term goals.
KeyDuties & Responsibilities
- Help prepare research proposals and assist in submission of funding applications.
- Plan and perform experiments and surveys.
- Collect, record and analyze data.
- Interpret data analysis results and draw inferences and conclusions.
- Use research results to write reports, papers and reviews and present findings to lab meetings, in journals and at conferences.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
$47,486.40 - $85,000
QualificationsDoctorate in a related field OR Master's degree in a related field and two (2) years of related experience OR Bachelor's degree in related field and four (4) years of related experience OR Associate's degree in related field and six (6) years of related experience required.
Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
