HVAC Installation Technician

About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled HVAC Installation Technician to join their team in Upington . This role is essential for ensuring the proper installation and setup of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties. You will work directly with clients to understand their needs, install systems according to specifications, and ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

This is a hands-on position for a qualified technician committed to providing quality workmanship and excellent service in the Upington area.

• Install new HVAC systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, and ventilation units, in accordance with design specifications.
• Perform system checks and initial testing to ensure correct operation and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and repair existing HVAC systems, diagnosing issues and implementing necessary fixes.
• Ensure all installations and repairs comply with local building codes and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work site and company vehicle.
• Educate clients on system operation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting tips.

• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician with a focus on installation.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and electrical wiring.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
• Proficiency with HVAC tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to travel within the Upington region.
• Relevant certifications are highly advantageous.
