Installation and Repair Technician

Our client is seeking a skilled Installation and Repair Technician to join their operational team serving the Upington region. This role is essential for the successful setup and ongoing support of our client's products and systems at customer premises. You will be responsible for installing new equipment, troubleshooting issues, and performing necessary repairs to ensure customer satisfaction and system reliability. This is a hands-on position for an individual with strong technical skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work effectively independently in various locations across the Northern Cape .

• Install and configure equipment and systems according to company standards and customer requirements.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues encountered during installation or operation.
• Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components to restore functionality.
• Conduct system tests and checks to ensure optimal performance post-installation or repair.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and time taken.
• Provide clear technical guidance and basic user support to clients on-site.

• Previous experience as an Installation Technician or Repair Technician.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical diagrams and installation guides.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical components.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on job sites.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Upington area.
