Refrigeration Technician

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Refrigeration Technician to join their team serving the Upington area. This role focuses on the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. You will be responsible for ensuring that cooling systems operate efficiently and reliably, providing essential services to various businesses. • Install, service, and repair refrigeration units, including walk-in coolers, freezers, and chillers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems within refrigeration systems.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and energy efficiency.
• Ensure all work complies with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
• Manage inventory of necessary parts and tools for service calls.
• Provide technical support and explanations to clients regarding system operation and maintenance.

• Proven experience as a Refrigeration Technician .
• Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, thermodynamics, and electrical control systems.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and specialized tools for refrigeration repair.
• Ability to work independently and manage service calls effectively.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant certifications in refrigeration and air conditioning are required.
