Lead Teacher

Kinder Care is seeking a Lead Teacher for Pioneer Junior High to guide learning for junior high students in a safe, inclusive classroom. You will design standards-aligned lessons, lead daily instruction, and use assessments to support academic and social-emotional growth. The Lead Teacher models strong classroom management, collaborates with staff, and builds meaningful partnerships with families. You will mentor support staff, participate in ongoing professional development, and help advance Kinder Care's mission to nurture each child's potential.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily classroom instruction aligned with curriculum standards for junior high students
• Design and implement engaging lesson plans that support diverse learning styles
• Assess student progress and use data to adjust instruction and interventions
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
• Communicate regularly with families about student progress and classroom activities
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and school initiatives
• Mentor and support assistant teachers or paraprofessionals in the classroom
• Implement school policies and uphold Kinder
• Care's culture and values
• Participate in professional development and continuous improvement activities
